  • Taking good care of your lashes will help them last longer and keep them looking full and beautiful. Here’s how:

    First 24–48 Hours:

    • Avoid water, steam, and humidity (no saunas, hot showers, etc.).

    • Don’t touch or rub your eyes.

    • No makeup on or around the eyes.

    Daily Care:

    • Clean your lashes every day with a gentle, lash-safe cleanser (water-based, oil-free).

    • Use a clean spoolie brush to gently comb your lashes, especially after washing or showering.

    • Avoid oily products near your eyes (including creams, cleansers, and makeup).

    • Never pull on your extensions, even if they seem loose.

    Avoid:

    • Mascara (especially waterproof).

    • Eyelash curlers.

    • Sleeping on your stomach or with your face in the pillow.

    • High heat exposure (BBQ, oven, blow dryer near the face).

    Fills:

    • Book a lash fill every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain a full and fresh look.

  • Proper aftercare is key to beautiful, long-lasting results. Here’s everything you need to know after your lip tattoo appointment:

    What to Expect:

    • Lips will be swollen and tender for the first 24–48 hours — this is completely normal.

    • Color will appear brighter or darker for the first few days. It will fade and soften as it heals.

    • Some flaking or peeling is expected — let it come off naturally.

    What to Do:

    • Keep lips clean and lightly moisturized. Use the healing ointment I provided (apply with clean cotton swab).

    • Blot gently with a clean tissue if needed — no rubbing.

    • Avoid salty, spicy, hot, or acidic foods — they can sting and slow down healing.

    • Sleep on your back if possible, and use a clean pillowcase.

What to Avoid (for 7–10 days):

    • No makeup, creams, or skincare products on the lips.

    • No smoking, kissing, or touching your lips.

    • No saunas, hot tubs, swimming pools, or heavy sweating.

    • Do not pick or peel the flakes — this can cause patchiness or scarring.

    • Avoid direct sun exposure (and no tanning!).

    Healing Timeline:

    • Day 1–3: Swelling, bold color.

    • Day 4–7: Peeling begins, color looks faded or patchy.

    • Week 2–4: Color starts to settle.

    • Week 6–8: Time for your touch-up appointment (if needed).
